Le'go my Ecco!

For those who remember the old Eggo Waffle advertising slogan: "Le'go my Eggo!" the title to this review may be a sign of my deeply seeded overprotective feelings toward the Bouillon Flat...Well you are right (hangs head in false shame...). Despite the fact that I own this style in more colors then I am willing to admit every day I struggle with the decision whether or not to actually wear the shoes outdoors...they just look so darn pretty in the closet! I believe that in the Bouillon Ecco has created THE PERFECT FLAT! If the feminine Ballet Flat and the comfy Sneaker had an offspring the Bouillon is what it would look like...



FIT:

True EU sizing (my US 11 requires an EU 42); true to size and true to width; forgiving for a wider foot. Oddly enough when I first put the shoe on I felt I had made a big mistake: the shoe rubbed mercilessly in many places. Thankfully I persevered; after a couple of hours the shoe molded onto my foot and became UBER comfy. Unlike with many ballet flats there is ample toe coverage with an accommodating toe box.



MAKE:

Upper and lining are leather or suede. The materials wear VERY well. I have had the shoes for over a year now but they still look almost new. The shoe does not sweat. The sole is rubber. There is a brilliantly hidden heel (about one inch); invisible from the outside allows for good balance. With its comfort the entire structure of the sole reminds me of a sneaker but with a purely feminine look of a ballet flat.



LOOK:

The picture does not do the shoe justice. The style slims the foot and ankle while transcending fashion fads. Well padded but never bulky this shoe offers reasonable protection from the elements without the masculinity of a loafer; it is comfortable without the ruggedness of a sneaker; it is dainty without the barely there support of a ballet flat. The red color in particular is a sight to behold though all the colors add something to an outfit be it jeans skirts or suits.



While I highly recommend this style for all the above reasons please remember: in the case of the Bouillon ownership can easily turn to addiction...Buy at own risk!

comfortable work boots

These boots are incredibly comfortable and the added support make them even better. I had some concern about how high the boot goes above my ankles as my old work boots were lower. Italian sizes...

I received these fast. They are beautiful but a size 10 is a 40 in an Italian shoe according to the conversion chart and they are quite snug. I would say more like a 9 1/2. Love Love these Cowgirl Boots!!!

I bought these boots this w-end at the Aldo shoes outlet (for [...] bucks!!) and i am in love!!! I have been looking for a mid length boot that fits just right. I have extremely small calves I have chicken legs so most boots make me look like I am swimming in them. Not so with these boots! I loved them. I love these shoes

I bought these shoes yesterday in dark blue denim. I have been wearing them around the house and the difference in my posture is noticeable. My husband and daughter immediately remarked that I was walking straighter. They are very comfortable and fun to wear. When I took them off and put on a pair of garden clogs my feet felt heavy and awkward so I threw them back on. I don't think that MBT are the best looking shoes but they are extremely comfortable and fun to wear. I am looking forward to buying a second pair of winter ones when the season comes. Incredible!

When I looked at these shoes I thought that they cost way too much but I bought a pair anyway. Now I absolutely love them and feel that my money was well invested.

Company problem not the shoes!

I have been trying to exchange these shoes for the correct size for over 2 weeks and this company does not respond back to me. I cannot imagine if I needed to return something. I have MBT shoes and they are terrific I just ordered the wrong size accidentally. I would never purchase from this company again. Don't believe their return/exchange policy. The MBT Mid-calf Goti boot is the bomb! MBT usually caters to those with medium to wide feet. I have narrow to medium feet with a narrow heel. I'm particularly hard to fit but it's absolutely perfect for me. I want another pair. The comfort and support it provides is unspeakable. I wish they had it in brown as well. I also bought the MBT tall TAMBO boot. I love both. However because my legs tend to be slender the Goti boot is adjustable to the calf where the TAMBO isn't. Break in your shoes! Gently!

I had to respond to the person who wrote a 2 star review because the shoes gave her blisters. Um break in your shoes gently. This goes for any shoe.



I own these MBT's and I own two other pairs of MBTs. They are fantastic shoes but they do need some gentle breaking in. They are made differently than other shoes and they will take a little getting used to. You'll need to wear them inside for a few days here and there to get used to the motion and get your muscles used to the shoes. They work your leg muscles differently than normal so take it slow. Your feet won't sit the same way in these shoes as your other shoes. If you wear them every day you'll be broken in within a week and won't have to worry about it any more.



So buy the MBTs if you like what they stand for and break them in slowly. Soon you might not ever buy another brand of shoe. I now wear only my MBT's my running shoes and one pair of crocs around the house when I'm not going barefoot.



MBTs are great shoes and they will last you many years. More detail ...

MBT Tunisha Casual Mary Jane

I love the dressy look of my new MBT's. I'd read here (and on the site where I ordered) that they are running 1/2 size smaller and that I should order 1/2 size larger than my norm. I printed the foot sizing chart and ordered the 1/2 size larger but when they arrived (and they arrived quickly) they were just a tad large. I ruminated about what to do but decided to return them for the 8's and I'm so glad I did. They fit great and function the same as my MBT sandals in terms of 'the walk'. It's GREAT to be able to wear dressier clothes with them! Hope the company continues to upgrade and update their styles so the whole line becomes more contemporary and attractive. MBT's have resolved my foot issues (I'm a therapist on my feet all workday) and I'm very grateful.More detail ...
